National Night Out

National Night Out is a nationwide campaign organized by the National Association of Town Watch to promote police-community relationships and neighborhood camaraderie.

The UTA Police Department hosts the annual National Night Out event in October every year at Brazos Park in front of the University Center.

HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE

The UTA Personal Financial Education Program’s Halloween Quiz Challenge is for the College of Business Students.

HOLIDAY SPIRIT FINANCIAL EDUCATION GAME

The Personal Financial Education Program organized the Holiday Spirit Financial Education Game for the university students enrolled in a UNIV class. The game was a credit card simulation game that the students played about APRs and then we showed them an in-house video made on APRs and the power of compounding. The students then took a short quiz on the video and the game they played. The winners received a holiday gift.

REALITY FAIR

It’s a fun and interactive way to learn about budgeting. You’ll be given real-life adult scenarios where you need to make decisions about food, housing, transportation, clothing, and more without busting your budget.
