Temporary Electrical Outage to Accommodate Campus Construction Activities

To accommodate campus construction activities, the contractor has requested a temporary electrical outage to begin on Friday, December 4th, at 5:00 a.m. lasting no later than 7:00 a.m. in the following buildings:

PE Building

Smart Hospital Clinic & Offices

Texas Hall*

*This building is equipped with a back-up generator to power crucial services during this outage.

It is recommended you keep any computer work/data in progress saved during these timeframes to prevent any possible data loss.  Also, to prevent any possible damage, we recommend you turn off all electronic equipment including computers, scanners, and copiers prior to this outage (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets).  Please share with your fellow faculty and staff members accordingly.
