About Me

My name is Martin Wallace and I am the Maker Literacies Librarian and liaison to engineering, math and physics  at the University of Texas at Arlington Libraries. I hold a BFA in Sculpture, a BA in Philosophy, and an MLIS, all from The University of North Texas, and an MS in Information Systems from The University of Maine. Before coming to UTA, I developed and taught an online, 3-credit Information Literacy course at the University of Maine. In my role as UTA’s Maker Literacies Librarian, I investigate ways to incorporate makerspaces and experiential learning into the undergraduate curriculum. My current research interests are in maker-based curriculum design, instruction and assessment.

You can read about my other research interests, publications and accomplishments on my UTA Profile Page.
