Congratulations to The Almost Invisible Cows, winners of the April 5, 2017 Pitch of the Week (POW!) Preliminary Challenge. Team members include Suehyun Lee, a sophomore Nursing major who minors in Leadership, Reece Walker, a senior Public Relations major who minors in Advertising, and Cyril Lutterodt, a Psychology and Computer Science double major. Their pitch was for Liquid Latex Clothing that can be custom designed and printed from a video game interface. The Almost Invisible Cows will advance to the final round of POW! to be held on Wednesday April 26 from noon-1:00 in the UTA FabLab. Each member of the winning team at the final round will receive $50 gift cards.
Also playing today were the The Ralph Wiggum Society, including Vivian De La Cruz, a junior Advertising and Public Relations major, Felix Diaz, a junior Broadcasting major, and Elayne Otstot, a junior Kinesiology major who minors in Public Health, and The Mighty Flying Penguins, including Michael Frausto, a junior Advertising major, Kevin Cooper, a junior Advertising major, and Garalene Palmer, a Freshman accounting major. Each of these competitors get a $10 gift card just for playing!
We would like to also thank our volunteer judges: Koffi Selom Egbeto, Technology Licensing Associate with the Office of Technology Management at UTA, Scott Parsinen, an organizer at 1 Million Cups in Fort Worth, TX, and founder of the Arlington House of Genius, and Andy Herzog, department head for Faculty Services and Online Engagement here at UTA Libraries.
