12/07/2022 – Congratulations Baris on successfully defending your PhD Dissertation, “Robust Synthesis Methods for Cooperative Systems”.

Baris with his Dissertation Committee (Drs. Chakravarthy, Bowling, Subbarao, Wang and Xie)
Baris presenting his work.

12/5/2022 – Congratulations Tsung-Liang (Edward) on successfully completing your PhD Comprehensive Exam. Dissertation proposal title “Optimal Aggressive Constrained Trajectory Synthesis and Control for Multi-Copters”

11/28/2022 – We had visitors from Granbury High School (Juniors and Seniors) with an interest in STEM.

11/22/2022 – Saina got her paper published titled, “Method for Identification of Multiple Low-Voltage Signal Sources Transmitted through a Conductive Medium”, IEEE Access (Nov. 2022), 10.1109/ACCESS.2022.3223354

Edward (Tsung-Liang) Liu published his paper titled, “Optimal Aggressive Constrained Trajectory Synthesis and Control for Multi-Copters”, Aerospace, 9(6), 281, https://doi.org/10.3390/aerospace9060281

Jinay presented his paper titled, ‘Reachable Set Computation and Analysis for Hypersonic Atmospheric Re-entry Vehicles’ at the AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference, Charlotte, NC. Fine presentation and congrats!!

Rajnish graduated out of the lab to join the work force, after a very productive post-doc study. We will miss him, but we wish him the best for his future and we are glad he was a part of our group for all these years.

Kashish defended his PhD Dissertation (Summer 2022), titled “Reactive Motion Planning of Autonomous Vehicles in 3-Dimensional Environments using Collision and Rendezvous Cones“. He was co-advised by Dr. Animesh Chakravarthy. Kashish is joining Apple Inc. in November 2022.

Five high school interns shadowed our lab for one day a week in July/August, to get a sense of how research is conducted in Universities. We will host many more in the future years.

Accepted!! Jinay’s abstract for AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist’s Conference, August, 2022 in Charlotte, NC

Accepted!! Cem’s paper for AIAA Aviation Conference, June, 2022 in Chicago, IL

Baris successfully defended his Dissertation Proposal and passed his PhD Comprehensive Exam on the April 15th. Congratulations Baris! Very well done.

Rajnish’s paper titled, “Consensus of Cooperative Unmanned Systems with Non-uniform Time-varying Delays” got accepted for publication in the AIAA Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics. Congratulations Rajnish!

Kashish successfully defended his Dissertation proposal and passed his PhD comprehensive exam in April 2022. Congratulations Kashish! Very well done.

Our lab presented Four posters during NASA on the Campus event last week. Thanks Aakarshan, Edward, Cem, and Rajnish.
