    • MS student Rafael Villegas was successfully awarded with a Graduate Fellowship from Spindletop Oil and Gas Co. in 2016
    • Congras to Troy Barber (undergraduate lab assistant) who won extremely competitive NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program in 2015.
    • Mengdi (Dean) Sun, a joint PhD student from China University of Geosciences (Beijing) with 18-month funidng from China Scholarship Council, will present an oral talk at 2016 GSA Conference in Denver.
    • Rui Yang, a joint PhD student from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with funding from China Scholarship Council, are the 1st authors for two posters in 2016 GSA Annual Conference in Denver.
