Facilities Management will be testing the emergency electrical generators serving the following buildings on Thursday, February 15th, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
- Carlisle Hall
- Engineering Research Building
- University Hall
The testing will only affect the electrical services tied to each building’s generator, not the entire building. There will a slight “blip” lasting approximately one half of a second as the electrical service transfers to the generator and another as it is transferred back to the normal building service. The testing period will last approximately 30 minutes in each building. It is recommended you keep any computer work/data in progress saving during this timeframe to prevent any possible data loss. Please share with your fellow faculty, research teams, and staff members accordingly.
