Facilities Management will be replacing a bad breaker on the University Administration Building’s emergency electrical generator early Friday morning, August 13th, beginning at 6:00 a.m. This will require a temporary electrical outage for anything connected to the emergency generator; the rest of the building will remain in service. This outage is not expected to last more than one hour with full service being restored no later than 7:00 a.m.
It is recommended you keep any computer work/data in progress saved to prevent any possible data loss. Also, to prevent any possible damage, we recommend you turn off all electronic equipment including computers, scanners, and copiers (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets) prior to this testing period. Please share with your fellow faculty and staff members accordingly.
