Temporary Air Conditioning Outage – University Center: Career Development Center, VP for Student Affairs’ Suite, and Student Leadership Center (east end of building)

Due to a manufacturer’s recall on the air handlers serving the Career Development Center, the VP for Student Affairs’ Suite, and the Student Leadership Center at the east end of the University Center, a temporary air conditioning outage will be required to make repairs.  This outage will affect only the air conditioning in the above listed locations, but we wanted to make other building occupants aware that workmen may be seen in other areas of the building so no one would be alarmed.  The Office of Facilities Management plans to begin this outage on Monday night, October 16th, at 6:00 p.m. with air conditioning being restored no later than 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, October 17th.  If the manufacturer is unable to complete the repairs in one night, another outage will be required on Tuesday night, October 17th, at 6:00 p.m. with air conditioning being restored no later than 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, October 18th.

Please let your fellow staff members know as necessary.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your cooperation.  If you have any questions, concerns, or special requirements during this time frame, please contact either Scott Willis, HVAC Supervisor, at Ext. 2-3337 or Don Lange, OFM Director, at Ext. 2-2096.
