Stephanie Wall-Lopez is a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas at Arlington and over 13 years of experience in the classroom. She began her career as an AVID tutor at Arlington High School and quickly transitioned to teaching 5th Grade Science and Math in a Title 1 Campus in Arlington ISD. In 2013, she joined Mansfield ISD, where she spent eight years teaching 6th Grade Science at Donna Shepard Leadership Academy—three of those years also included Social Studies instruction.

Now in her fifth year as a Alma Martinez STEM Academy Science Designer, Stephanie Wall-Lopez is deeply committed to designing and facilitating engaging, hands-on, problem based and STEM learning experiences that empower students to think critically, solve problems, and cultivate creativity. Throughout her career, she has been an advocate for learners—championing real-world, impactful, and relevant education that prepares students for success beyond the classroom. She has played an active role in STEM curriculum development, school and community event planning, and has served as an Academic Club Sponsor for 12 years. Her dedication to equity in STEM is also evident through her work with a local tutoring company supporting girls’ confidence and interest in STEM fields and lifelong learning.

Beyond the classroom, Stephanie Wall-Lopez finds joy and inspiration through traveling, exploring different cultures, engaging in the arts, and nurturing her faith. She values personal growth and achievement and strives to be a lifelong learner—just like the students she empowers every day.
