Nathan Gwin

I am currently working towards a double major degree in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, with a minor in aerospace engineering. I currently work for the civil engineering department here at UTA as a student admin support, a job I gained due to my great prior experience with engineering, power tool use, and a wide range of skills. My goal is to work either in defense contracting with companies like Lockheed Martin or Texas Instruments, or work in power generation, where I would work in power plants.

After I gain my bachelor’s degree, I plan to get a good job in my field to save up enough money to eventually return to college to get a master’s and maybe even a doctorate at a college like Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, or maybe return to UTA. With these new degrees, I hope to find my dream job in the previously mentioned areas.

My path in life is the never-ending pursuit of knowledge. I am interested in nearly all areas of knowledge, though I prefer engineering topics. I love to learn as much as possible and share what I know with those around me. Academics are my whole life, I live for the pursuit of knowledge, outside of school, I still strive to learn, in my pass time I enjoy video games and taking things apart to figure out how they work.

My education is pursuing bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering with a minor in aerospace engineering at UTA.
