Karen Steen
Karen Steen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2001 and has spent her 23-year teaching career teaching English Language Arts. After teaching Humanities English Language Arts at Mansfield’s Jerry Knight STEM Academy for 3 years, in 2021 she picked up two sections of Digital Arts classes that she continues to teach now.
Karen is always seeking ways to incorporate STEM ideologies and practices into her ELAR and Digital Arts classes. She is committed to doing her part to help prepare future STEM workers for the jobs and roles they will be stepping into in the future.
