Tariq Aljaafreh

Tariq A Aljaafreh is a civil engineering PhD student at the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016 and his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Mutah University in 2009. His Master’s thesis was on strengthening lightweight reinforced concrete beams using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). He worked for Sorenson Gross Company in Jordan from 2009 to 2010 and for ALFANAR precast concrete company in Saudi Arabia from 2010 to 2014. Tariq is currently working on his PhD dissertation titled strengthening of laterally damaged prestressed concrete bridge girders with CFRP laminates.
