Shadman Sakib

Shadman Sakib is a master’s student in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington in Dr. Nur Yazdani’s research group. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology in 2019. Shadman had an excellent extracurricular background in campus journalism as an undergraduate. Later, he joined Torque Consulting Engineers in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as an assistant engineer for a year. Besides his research on bridge asset management, he is the treasurer of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) student chapter. He received the CE Excellence Fund Scholarship and the Construction Research Center Scholarship at UTA. He is passionate about bridge evaluation and structural design.
