Naima Tahsin Zenika

Naima Tahsin Zenika is a driven and accomplished Master’s student in Civil/Structural Engineering, contributing her expertise to the remarkable team led by Dr. Yazdani.
After her Bachelor’s, with a profound passion for structural engineering, Naima honed her skills and knowledge in the field during a two-year stint as a Junior Structural Engineer at a consultancy firm. This invaluable experience allowed her to delve deep into the intricate world of concrete structure design.
Naima’s journey took an exciting turn when she joined Dr. Yazdani’s dynamic team. She has become an integral part of a University Partnership Program, established by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG). The project, titled “Bridge Asset Condition Maintenance and Improvement Through Logical and Cost-Effective Intervention,” underscores Naima’s commitment to making a tangible impact in the field of civil engineering.
Within this program, Naima Tahsin Zenika has been diligently researching bridge defects and exploring innovative, cost-effective interventions. Her work elevates her academic and professional journey and contributes to the safety and longevity of critical infrastructure in the North Central Texas region.
