Istiaque Hassan
Md Istiaque Hasan is a structural engineer with research background in nondestructive evaluation (NDE) of concrete structures. His expertise in concrete NDE includes Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Impact Echo (IE), Ultrasonic Surface Wave (USW) and Electrical Resistivity (ER). He has experience to work with Federal Highway Long Term Bridge Performance (FHWA LTBP) program where he was involved in performance validation of an autonomous bridge deck NDE evaluation tool. He has also worked on structural health monitoring of bridges, bridge instrumentation and load testing, bridge refined load rating by finite element modeling and bridge long term performance prediction. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan.
