Cesar Aguirre

Cesar Aguirre has worked as a Mechanical Engineer for different industry sectors for 10 years. His main responsibilities have included managing production personnel, maintaining and designing machinery, and improving processes for manufacturing. His ultimate goal was always the improvement of production efficiency. In 2005, he had a big change in his career path when he moved into the Structural Engineering field. He enrolled into the Master in Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington. He started to develop an intense passion for Concrete and Steel structures after having worked as a Senior Project Designer in Tension Membrane Structures.

Research Interest:

Cesar Aguirre would like to work in FRP reinforcement analysis, effects, and recommendations to fix damages in buildings or bridges after the occurrence of a natural disaster (such as tornadoes or hurricanes).
