Edwin Ochieng

Edwin Ochieng is an Undergraduate Civil Engineering student who is equipped with civil engineering, computer software, and research study skills. He worked as a civil/structural engineering intern at Vistra Corp where he developed design information for structural component repairs, supported fleet program information gathering and management, and assisted in the structural design of platforms and concrete foundations.
He also volunteered as a citizen scientist in the City of Fort Worth to conduct water quality testing by collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing hydrological field data. Edwin is named to the College of Engineering Dean’s List for Spring 2022 at the University of Texas at Arlington, and he is also a recipient of the Student Leadership Awards 2020-2021 at Tarrant County College.
