Preeti Pandey

Preeti Pandey is pursuing a master’s degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently working as a GRA under the guidance of Dr. Nur Yazdani. She was also the Vice President of SEI UTA student chapter for the 2017 term. She received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (June 2016) from RGPV University, India. She was also the recipient of the Chancellor’s merit scholarship for her academic excellence. During her internship at Larsen and Turbo (L&T) thermal power plant site, she performed site supervision along with accommodating drafting and analysis changes as per field and quality control tests.
Her areas of interest include – Bridge Designing, Pre-stressed/Post-tensioned Design, dynamic analysis of building structures, BIM, strengthening of structure members and connections./

Current research topic:

• “Effect of Different types of Anchorage on Strengthening of Concrete Beam through Polysaturated Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Laminate.”
