Jose Levya

I was born and raised in Honduras, but now consider Texas to be home. I am currently a M.S student in Department of Civil Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington. I completed my undergraduate studies at UTA, finishing in Fall 2018. Some of my prior experience involves the IRES Site on Hazard Mitigation for Civil Infrastructure in Valencia, Spain. There I was involved in research on the topic of corrosion rate monitoring in concrete structures. I am currently working on my thesis under the guidance of Dr. Nur Yazdani. The topic is “Comprarative Study on the Performance of Old versus New Bent Caps”.
