Mohd Rahman
Mohd Mezanur Rahman is a PhD student at University of Texas at Arlington. He received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh in 2016. His undergraduate thesis was on stress strain analysis of airfield flexible pavement using finite element software (ABAQUS). After graduating from MIST, he started his career as an Assistant Engineer in a reputed consultancy firm. Later he joined in Department of Civil Engineering at MIST as a Teaching Assistant.
During this time Mr. Rahman conducted research on seismic vulnerability assessment of reinforced concrete school buildings in Bangladesh and also on experimental and numerical behavior of lean duplex stainless steel. At present he is working under supervision of Dr. Nur Yazdani.
