Ikram Efaz
Ikram Hasan Efaz is a PhD student in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington in Dr. Nur Yazdani’s research group. He completed his undergraduate from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET) in March of 2016. During his undergraduate, he worked to improve the durability properties of brick chips by applying calcite precipitating bacteria.
After completing his undergraduate, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering BUET for one year and a half. During this time, he conducted his research on the bond performance of Epoxy Coated Steel bars in concrete. He conducted direct pull out test and flexure test on epoxy coated reinforcement as a part of the project.
