Shatara Mock-Page
After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Phoenix in May 2012, Shatara Page embarked on a teaching career with the Dallas Independent School District (ISD) in December 2013. Prior to becoming a teacher, Mrs. Page was actively involved in educational programs such as Partners in Education, where she tutored 2nd-grade students to enhance their math and reading skills and served as a guest speaker to educate students on financial literacy. Driven by a passion for teaching, Shatara Page began her career with Dallas ISD as a math teacher, a position she held from 2013 to 2016. During this time, she honed her skills in curriculum development and classroom management, fostering a supportive and effective learning environment for their students. In 2016, Shatara transitioned to Mansfield ISD, continuing to inspire and educate students in mathematics. Her dedication to professional growth led her to earn a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University in December 2017. Currently, Shatara serves as a STEM Designer at Alma Martinez STEM Academy in Mansfield ISD, a role she assumed in 2021. In this capacity, she leverages her expertise to develop innovative STEM curricula and engage students in hands-on, technology-driven learning experiences. With a strong background in finance, a wealth of teaching experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement, Shatara is dedicated to empowering students and shaping the future of education through innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
