Joshua Ogg

Josh Ogg obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 2017 after spending several years working as an Advanced Mobile Electronic Certified Professional, installing vehicle electronics and fabricating a variety of solutions for vehicle audio, security, and comfort. He immediately took a position at James Martin High School as a math teacher where he remains today. Josh teaches Advanced Geometry for Arlington ISD’s STEM Academy and was honored as the student-elected STEM Academy Teacher of the Year in 2023. Using his experience from mobile electronics and the service industry, he co-sponsors Martin’s Solar Racing Team and sponsors the Martin Aeronautic Rocketry Society. Josh will be Teaching Pre-AP Geometry during the 24-25 school year, as he is incredibly passionate about the subject and enjoys the ties it has to his other passion, woodworking.
