Jennifer Lockhart
Jennifer Lockhart, a native Texan, utilized her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1994 to become an analytical chemist for three years, working in an environmental testing lab. She then followed a new career path, obtaining a Master of Education in Teaching from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2001. Starting in 1998, she taught math and science for thirteen years, and she served as science department chair for a year at Carter High School in Dallas ISD. When her husband of 26 years began to pastor a church in Greenville, Texas, she took on the new role as a pastor’s wife in addition to the role of an honors chemistry and honors physics teacher at Cedar Hill High School in 2011. For eleven years she also served on various committees to reach shared campus goals. As an aspiring campus administrator, she accepted the position of honors physics teacher last year at Everman Joe C. Bean High School and is looking forward to teaching AP physics next year with more campus leadership opportunities.
