Introducing the New Microsoft Teams

Microsoft is moving all Teams users at the University of Texas at Arlington to the new Teams on March 29, 2024.

When you return to campus or login to your device after March 29, please restart Teams. You will see a window like the one below.

Both buttons will take you to the new Teams.

You will not notice a change if you are already using the new Teams. However, you will no longer able to switch back to classic Teams after the change.

Microsoft has released a full list of changes users will notice. You can view that on the Microsoft website.

Some additional settings adjustments may be needed for Mac users. You can view those details on the Microsoft site. 

Microsoft is also addressing issues from those already using the new Teams. That updated list is also on the Microsoft site.
