Microsoft is introducing an improved default gallery view in Teams meetings and calls.
This new gallery version will introduce:
A 16:9 aspect ratio for participant tiles that provides more visibility into users’ body language and hand gestures.
An audio-video mixed gallery for a more inclusive representation.
Your own tile appearing by the rest of the participants’.
Meeting rooms displayed larger than individual participants.
Note: In certain meeting sizes, Microsoft Teams Rooms video display in a larger size than other participants to give an equivalent weight to participants joining from a meeting room. Non-Teams rooms joining Teams meeting via Direct Guest Join will remain the same tile size.
