Suggested Replies in Group Chats on Teams Desktop

Suggested Replies are now available in group chats on Teams Desktop, allowing you to select a quick response when you are mentioned in a group chat or when you are having a one-on-one conversation.

Suggested replies uses assistive AI to create short responses based on the context of the previous message. After someone sends a few messages in a row, suggested replies presents users with up to three recommended responses to choose from.

This feature is on by default but you can disable it. Select Settings and more > Settings > General then scroll down to Suggested replies and uncheck Show suggested replies in chat.
