Teams users will soon be able to host webinars in Teams!

Webinars are different from regular meetings and Live Events. 

They provide a variety of flexible capabilities including:

  • An option to include registration or not
  • Event details field to describe the event
  • Speaker details field to highlight the speaker’s information
  • A form to allow attendees to register for the event
  • Custom questions for the registration page
  • Email confirmation sent to attendees with a link to join the webinar
  • Live reactions, real-time polls, standout mode (superimpose the speaker’s video feed over the shared content)
  • Attendee controls for presenters
  • Reporting capabilities for registration and attendance for organizers
