An enhancement is coming to Teams that will allow meetings to accommodate up to 20,000 participants.
The first 1000 participants will have access to all meeting features.
Participants over 1000 will have view-only access and are only able to watch the meeting. (This means that they cannot see the Chat, share screens, or access other meeting features. This will not impact the normal interaction for regular participants.)
