Microsoft Whiteboard: Save meeting content with collaborative annotations
Microsoft will soon expand Whiteboard functionality to Teams desktop users.
Collaborative annotations in Microsoft Teams allows meeting participants with the presenter role to enable annotations after sharing screen. With collaborative annotations, everyone in the meeting can draw, add a note, react, highlight text, etc. on the presented content.
In an upcoming update, participants sharing their screen can save content with collaborative annotations as a Microsoft Whiteboard, enabling all meeting participants to revisit the content and continue collaborating after the meeting.
Users who share their screen in Teams meetings and select “Start Annotation” in the presenter toolbar will soon see a new “Save” button in the Whiteboard toolbar. This new button will capture all annotations from the meeting in one Whiteboard file.
