New Meet Now Experience in Group Chats

The new Meet Now experience in Teams group chats will start an instant, live discussion without scheduling a meeting. This feature will be available on Teams mobile, desktop and web versions.

The Meet Now chat works just like a group chat. This ensures that the content stays in context to help you find information when you need it.

To start an instant, ringless meeting in a group chat:

1. Select the new Meet Now button.
2. After selecting the Meet Now button, the meeting initiator will see a meeting has started and who has joined.
   
3. A window will expand during the meeting.

Users can discover and join ongoing Meet Now discussions in their list of chats in the top right corner of a group chat.
