New Default Document Theme

A new default theme is coming to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and Web. The theme will include the Aptos as the new default font, a new color palette and updated default line weights.

The new default colors will be updated to create easily accessible content for charts, lists, shapes and more.

As a reminder, some of the new default colors do not meet UTA accessibility standards of 4.5:1 contrast ratio. For more information on accessibility and how to meet these standards, visit the EIR Accessibility Office’s website.

Default outline weights will be increased to improve consistency and show contrast between shapes and lines.
