Microsoft is rolling out a preview of the new Teams desktop app for Mac. Users in the public preview and targeted release programs will be able to access the preview.
The new Microsoft Teams app focuses on speed, performance, flexibility and efficiency. In the new app users can seamlessly engage with other users across multiple accounts and organizations with multi-tenant organization (MTO). Users in organizations that manage employees across multiple tenants can search for coworkers in another tenant, create a single chat thread with other users, receive real-time notifications, join meetings and multitask from their home tenant.
