Microsoft will soon increase the maximum number of channels per team.
The current 200 standard and 200 shared channel limits are changing to a combined increased channel limit of 1,000, which will allow teams greater flexibility when creating a new channel.
Users will be able to create any combination of standard and shared channels up to a total of 1,000—including up to 30 private channels per team.
