Retiring 3 entry points to access content from the SharePoint mobile app
Microsoft is retiring the following three entry points to access content from the SharePoint mobile app:
The tab showing popular files from the Level 2 screen for “Find/Files”
“Recent Files” section from app-only quick navigation links shown for team sites. Since this feature does not exist on SPO & on OD, Microsoft is aligning the same for Mobile
User’s recent activity across SharePoint news and pages in the “Recent tab”
Microsoft recommends using the search bar, save for later, and other avenues in the SharePoint mobile app to access any content moving forward.
