Message composition on Outlook might soon look different for you as Microsoft updates where options are located to make the user experience more seamless. The shortcut to send an email message will not change.

All users will now see the formatting bar and “Send” and “Discard” buttons at the top of the message compose window, similarly to the common ribbon you see in other Microsoft apps.

Users with the “newest on top” options will see the formatting bar and “Send” and “Discard” buttons at the top of the compose window when replying to a message.

Moving these buttons from the bottom to the top of the message compose window will provide a similar user experience for web and both classic and new Outlook for Windows.
