Microsoft is determined to provide the best experience to its customers and will deliver a new, more discoverable Polls app in Teams. The original Forms app will be retired from Teams as an app and as a chat feature in November and will only be available in channels to provide survey capabilities.
The new Polls app will have the same functionality as Forms and will not require any data migration. Even though the Forms app is being retired, poll owners will still view polls previously created in the new Polls portal in Teams or view them in the Forms web portal located at http://forms.office.com/.
