Pegasus App Coming to Teams

The Pegasus app is coming soon to Microsoft Teams. Pegasus is customized for the UTA community to provide early announcements of updates and new features coming to Teams.

UTA faculty, staff and students will receive information before changes occur, enabling them to plan ahead and leverage helpful new additions to the platform.

Additionally, the Office of Information Technology will use Pegasus to provide system status updates and other important announcements for O365 and other applications.

What do Pegasus announcements look like?

Pegasus announcements will appear as Chat messages for UTA Teams users.

What should I expect?

Watch for an announcement stating “Your IT admin has added a new app.”

This will appear under the “More” icon (three dots) on the far left of the Teams interface.
