The Teams add-on for Outlook now includes an option to set meeting options when inviting 40 or more participants to a meeting or setting up a meeting using an email distribution list.

Meeting organizers will now be prompted in Outlook to set meeting options.  They may choose to let participants bypass the lobby, present, and/or unmute.  They can also choose to automatically record the meeting and enable or disable the meeting Chat.

If the meeting organizer clicks “not Now” and declines the option to set meeting options, the meeting will be set up with the default Teams meeting options.
