Mac users can now pre-record PowerPoint presentations to capture narration, slide timings, ink gestures and video feeds.

A new toolbar at the top of the recording view in PowerPoint will display recording controls.  Users who opt to record while sharing their video feed with a webcam will see themselves in the lower right corner of the slide.

After the recording is made, users can save it as a video and play it during a meeting or share it with others.

Pre-recording PowerPoint presentations can decrease lags during the meeting because they require less bandwidth than a live presentation.

To learn more about pre-recording PowerPoint presentations, see Microsoft’s step-by-step guide.
