Lists in SharePoint will soon be updated to a newer design to be consistent with the visual changes coming to other 365 applications. 

Additionally, users will be able to choose from eight new List templates, including Issue Tracker, Employee Onboarding, Event Itinerary, Asset Manager, Recruitment Tracker, Travel Requests, Work Progress Tracker, and Content Scheduler.

Lists are a great way to track tasks, manage workflows and improve productivity.
