A new Teams enhancement will soon be available for Windows 10 users.
This allows users to choose whether they would like to receive Teams notifications through Teams itself, or the Windows 10 notification system.
This also allows Teams to honor “do not disturb,” Quiet Hours, or Focus Assist modes.
Users can choose to switch to Windows notifications under Settings > Notifications in Teams.
