A new feature is coming to Teams that allows meeting organizers to prevent attendees from unmuting.

Meeting organizers can still unmute attendees when they raise their hands, but this feature prevents attendees from unmuting on their own.

A use case for this feature might be during formal, informative presentations, during a meeting that is being recorded or to reduce distractions.
