Teams users will soon see enhanced functionality to create customized meeting experiences using Apps.
Apps are third-party add-ons such as MS Forms, MS Planner, MS Survey, FlipGrid and more. Apps can now add features to Teams meetings such as tabs, bots, or other extensions that appear on-screen or in a dedicated tab during meetings.
Previously Apps were only available for individual use or within a team. This update allows Apps to be added to individual meetings for a more customized, collaborative experience.
