Microsoft Teamswill soon introduce live transcripts to meetings. This feature will help users follow meeting conversations by recording and transcribing meetings at the same time.
The meeting will be recorded and with a live transcription, and the transcript file can be accessed after the meeting via Chat or from the Transcript tab.
Attendees using Teams via a web browser cannot see the live transcript during the meeting. However, they will be able to download the transcript file after the meeting concludes.
This update is scheduled to roll out by mid-February and these new features are currently available only for English.
