On Sunday, September 13, the Office of Information Technology will be performing network maintenance from 2 A.M. to 4 A.M. Faculty, staff, and students may have to complete one or more steps after the scheduled maintenance:

  1. Users may be required to “forget” the previous network settings and reconnect to the wireless network. Visit the resource guide for detailed instructions.
  2. Please connect your device to the wireless network by selecting “UTA WiFi” in the list of available connections. “UTA WiFi” will allow users to enjoy greater connectivity, faster speeds when downloading and uploading files, an extended area of internet coverage, and improved battery life on compatible devices. The “UTA Auto Login” will still be available for anyone that has an older device that does not support Wi-Fi 6 and cannot connect to “UTA WiFi.”
  3. During the reconnection process, users may also be prompted to click the “trust” button to accept the new certificate.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact that IT Help Desk at 817-272-2208, send a chat, or submit a self-service ticket.
