On Monday, August 31 at 9 A.M., MavSpace will no longer be available at The University of Texas at Arlington. After this date, users will no longer be able to access this system to view, edit, or download the content. Faculty, staff, and students who have content stored in MavSpace will need to transfer those files to an alternative service, such as OneDrive. Please refer to “How to move files from MavSpace to OneDrive” for step-by-step instructions. Starting Monday, August 17, external shares to MavSpace files will no longer be available and users will also be required to use VPN when accessing this system.
Here are a few alternative solutions available to replace MavSpace:
Store and share your files with OneDrive: With OneDrive, faculty, staff, and student files are integrated with Microsoft 365 while offering easy access through your desktop or Microsoft Teams. This service saves files on your computer while providing a cloud version that can be accessed through multiple devices or through a web browser.
Get access to an intranet with SharePoint: With SharePoint Online, faculty and staff can set up a centralized and password protected workspace for collaboration and file sharing. This service offers versioning for the management of changes to documents, a recycle bin for recovering deleted files, alerts about added, deleted, or changed documents, and so much more!

Share your knowledge and expertise or engage your audience with open discussions and comments by publishing content on Maverick Blogs.
