In order to replace HVAC air handlers in Science Hall, Facilities Management will need to shut down the air handlers serving the 1st and 3rd Floors of the South Wing only beginning Monday, December 16th, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. Our HVAC Shop has already contacted many of the faculty and staff members in the these areas to let them know this was coming. Although there will be some impact on the building temperature in these areas, this should be minimal since the HVAC will be operational on the 2nd & 4th Floors of the South Wing and all of the North Wing which will provide residual heating and cooling to the outage areas. Facilities Management hopes to be finished by the time everyone returns from the Winter Break, but the outage may run over until January 3rd.
