In order to complete installation of a new fire pump controller in the Life Science Building, a temporary electrical outage will be required for the entire building on Saturday, February 17th, 2018, beginning at 7:00 a.m. to last until approximately 12:00 noon. The building’s emergency generator will remain operational during this outage for egress lighting, life safety, and all critical equipment connected to the generator.
To prevent any possible damage, we recommend you turn off all electronic equipment in the offices including computers, scanners, and copiers before leaving the building prior to this outage (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets). Please let your fellow faculty and staff members know as necessary.
